YEG Golf Charity Classic

 

The YEG Charity Golf Classic is an annual charity event hosted by Edmonton International Airport (YEG), bringing together the community to support important causes and foster positive connections. We were thrilled to partner with the Fort Saskatchewan Nourishment Centre and the Leduc Food Bank as our 2024 beneficiary charities. With generous support from our sponsors and participants, the YEG Charity Golf Classic is dedicated to raising funds to benefit these critical community organizations.

This year’s event offered a full day of golf, networking, and entertainment, all within the beautiful setting of RedTail Landing Golf Club. Attendees enjoyed a range of activities, including on-course contests, raffles, a ball drop, and an exciting Après Golf Reception, with prizes and special surprises throughout the day.

Our expertise

  • Program Development: Supported an engaging, charity-focused golf tournament program, including contests, an Après Golf Reception, and unique experiences like the Drone Ball Drop Raffle.

  • Logistical Planning: Coordinated the event flow at RedTail Landing, including sponsor placements, registration, cart management, food and beverage stations, and guest flow.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partnered with YEG, local sponsors, and key community organizations to support two vital community charities and promote meaningful collaboration.

  • On-Site Execution: Managed all day-of logistics, ensuring a smooth tournament start, on-course activities, and a seamless transition to the afternoon reception and awards ceremony.

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge that Foundry operates on the traditional territories of many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries. Finally, we acknowledge all Nations – Indigenous and non – who live, work and play on this land, and who honour and celebrate this territory.
