Jasper Dark Sky Festival

Tourism Jasper, the vibrant heartbeat of Jasper, Alberta, has teamed up with Foundry Events for nearly 10 years to orchestrate the renowned Jasper Dark Sky Festival. This annual celestial celebration, nestled in Jasper National Park—one of the world’s largest Dark Sky Preserves—draws stargazers, space enthusiasts, and curious minds from around the globe.

 

EO One canada Confrence

The Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) Canada partnered with Foundry Events to produce the EO One Canada Conference 2024, a prestigious event designed to inspire and empower entrepreneurs from across Canada. Hosted in the vibrant city of Calgary, Alberta, from July 3-5, 2024, this conference is set against the backdrop of the world-famous Calgary Stampede, offering a unique blend of professional development and cultural experiences

 

Jasper Wildfire Benefit Concert

In response to the devastating wildfires that ravaged Jasper in July 2024, the Jasper Wildfire Benefit Concert brought together friends of the community for a night of music and solidarity. Organized in just two weeks by Foundry, with nearly a decade of experience producing the Jasper Dark Sky Festival, this event was both a challenge and an honor. Held at the ATB Place Plaza and Macdonald Drive, the concert raised $255,400, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Jasper Community Team Society (JCTS), a local non-profit focused on supporting Jasper’s most vulnerable residents as they rebuild from the destruction.

Downtown Farmers Market

The Downtown Farmers' Market on 104th has not only revitalized the local community but also garnered significant media attention throughout the summer. As the event production partner, Foundry Events was at the forefront of delivering a seamless and engaging experience, from market logistics to vendor curation.

Foundry Events is thrilled to partner with the Edmonton Downtown Business Association (EDBA) to bring the magic of the holiday season to life with the inaugural Downtown Winterval. This winter festival celebrates the joy of the holidays with free outdoor concerts, cultural activities, horse-drawn sleigh rides, an indoor Christmas market, and an outdoor beer garden.

 

Three Stars Dark Sky

The Three Stars Dark Sky Pilot Project, held from September 17-19, 2024 in Bamfield and Anacla, BC, was a pilot project designed to explore sustainable tourism development while promoting the preservation of dark skies. Hosted on the ancestral lands of the Huu-ay-aht First Nations, the festival created an intersection of cultural heritage and environmental stewardship, blending Indigenous knowledge with modern astronomical science. With selected guests from fields like science, conservation, and community leadership, the event emphasized the importance of dark sky preservation and laid the groundwork for future dark sky initiatives.

Downtown spark

Downtown Spark was Edmonton’s vibrant 10-day arts and cultural festival that transformed the city’s core with immersive art installations, live performances, and community celebrations. From large-scale artworks by internationally acclaimed artists to family-friendly activities like Science Sundays and pet-friendly fun at Bark & Brew, the festival brought thousands downtown to experience creativity, connection, and play. With free programming, live concerts, and guided tours, Downtown Spark celebrated Edmonton’s arts and business communities while fostering community spirit and revitalizing the city’s heart.

 

Road to JUNOS Concert Series

As a lead-up to the 52nd Annual JUNO Awards Broadcast and JUNO Week in Edmonton, the Road to JUNOS Concert Series brought local music to the forefront from February 6 to February 28, 2023. Hosted in independent venues around Edmonton, the series was a unique opportunity to showcase the depth and breadth of talent in our region, not only the artists, but the technical teams, front-line service staff, and passionate ambassadors of Edmonton.

The YEG Charity Golf Classic was an annual community-driven event hosted by Edmonton International Airport (YEG) to support vital local causes. In 2024, we proudly partnered with the Fort Saskatchewan Nourishment Centre and the Leduc Food Bank to raise funds and foster meaningful connections. Held at the stunning RedTail Landing Golf Club, the event featured a full day of golf, networking, and entertainment, including exciting on-course contests, a Drone Ball Drop Raffle, and an Après Golf Reception. Foundry Events expertly managed the program, logistics, and on-site execution, making the event a true celebration of community impact and collaboration.
